If you just read the course

Nothing about you is stored. Page views are counted with Umami, which we host ourselves: no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data. Your checkmarks and quiz answers stay in your own browser (localStorage) until you choose to save them somewhere else.

If you join the email course

When you ask for your plan by email we keep:

your email address and, if you give it, your first name;
your quiz answers, so the emails follow the path that fits you;
a record of your consent: when you signed up, the wording you agreed to, and the IP address and browser it came from (this is how we can prove you asked);
which lesson emails we've sent you.

Nothing goes out until you tap the confirm button in the first email (and the confirm page that follows). If you never confirm, your signup is deleted after 30 days. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all course emails immediately. We may copy confirmed subscribers into our email tool (Hostinger Reach) to send occasional course updates; that copy follows the same rules.

If you create an account

Accounts are shared across the traqqit apps (one login for all of them). For this course the account stores your email, a securely hashed password, which lessons you've completed, and your quiz answers. We never see your password.

Where it lives and who sees it

Everything runs on our own server (a Hostinger VPS in the United States), backed up nightly. Only Alex Halloran, who runs Data Hound Tech LLC, can read it. Emails are sent through our own Hostinger mailbox. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.

Getting your data deleted

Email alex@datahoundtech.com from the address you signed up with and we'll delete your subscriber record and account within 30 days (usually the same day). Unsubscribing alone stops the emails but keeps a minimal record so we never email you again by mistake.
